Assistant Teacher (12:30pm to 6:30pm)

Description of the role:

The Assistant Teacher at The Sapling School will be responsible for assisting the lead teacher in classroom activities, maintaining a safe and nurturing environment for children, and supporting the educational goals of the school.

Responsibilities:

• Support the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and activities


• Supervise and engage with children during playtime and learning activities


• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized classroom

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent


• Previous experience working with children preferred


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Compensation: $15.50 - $17.00 per hour
