Assistant Teacher - Energetic Workplace

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Teacher to join our amazing team. As an Assistant Teacher, you will work closely with the lead teacher(s) to create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young children. This position is Monday thru Friday, 8:30 to 5:30, with a 1 hour lunch break. This position offers valuable experience in early childhood education.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities
- Provide support and guidance to children in their daily routines and activities
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Assist with classroom management, ensuring a safe and orderly learning environment

Requirements:
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to effectively manage behavior and create a positive learning environment
- Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with children of diverse backgrounds and abilities
- Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and priorities in the classroom
- A passion for working with children and helping them reach their full potential

Preferred Skills:

- Previous experience working with young children 2 to 5 years old in a preschool or childcare setting
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education

- Montessori experience a plus, but not required, will train on site
