Head Start Assistant Teacher Location: Head Start Location in Clermont County

Degree Preferred: Associates Degree in Early Childhood

Degree Required: CDA or Associates Degree in Early Childhood

Additional Requirements Include: Pass physical examination, background check, and drug screen, and maintain required Physical/TB screen requirements

Child Focus Early Childhood program is seeking a full time, seasonal Head Start Assistant Teacher 
Primary Job Responsibilities:  The Assistant Teacher will assist in implementing a research-based curriculum, engaging with children and helping them learn and grow.  Other duties may include light cleaning, riding the bus as a bus monitor and setting up activities.

• Passionate about providing quality care and learning opportunities as well as a safe environment for young children
• Work cooperatively with other team members
• Maintain an attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore and grow.
• Love children and wish to work in a team-oriented environment
• Meet basic requirements of local child care regulatory agency
• Knowledge and interest of the social, emotional and creative needs of young children 
• Have previous teaching or assistant teaching position in a licensed early childhood program.
