Assistant Teacher - West Suburbs

• Assist Lead Teacher in leading pre-planned activities and supervise children during Open Play times.
  
• Respond to children’s daily needs with flexibility, patience, and nurturing.
  
• Change diapers for younger children, assist with snacks and lunch as needed.
  
• Supervise nap times and be able to keep the class rhythm flowing. 
  
• Help prepare the classroom and materials for the upcoming day’s activities.
  
  

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience  
  

• Experience leading group activities and working one-on-one with children ages 3m-2y
  

• Current CPR + First-Aid Certification or willingness to become certified
  

• Record of up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass a background check
  

• Excellent attitude and proactive approach to work
