What You’ll Do:
- Assist students with their learning, both individually and in small groups
- Supervise students inside the classroom and during outdoor activities
- Ensure students follow classroom rules and procedures
- Keep accurate student records and help with assessments
- Communicate with parents and school staff as needed
- Support students’ social and emotional growth
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma or GED required (education in child development is a plus)
- Previous experience in a teaching assistant or similar role preferred
- Knowledge of child development and best practices in classroom management
- Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines
- Strong communication skills and a positive, energetic attitude
- A passion for supporting students and their learning journey

We have been in this location for eighteen (18) years. Approximately, ninety (90) percent of our referrals come from families that have had their children enrolled in our program. Several parents return as their households expand and younger children are of age for preschool. Our philosophy is that the most genuine referrals come directly from satisfied families. We operate with an open door policy. Parents are able to pop-in at any time to observe their child's progress at Wiser Choice Learning. We have built a foundation on open lines of communication.
