Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and experienced Assistant Teacher to join our team! You will be leading a class of students through the school year, assessing their current academic level, and implementing a curriculum to meet students’ collective and individual needs.

You are passionate about learning and helping students reach their potential. With strong creative and problem-solving skills, you love connecting with individual students and creating an engaging classroom environment.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and follow a comprehensive curriculum

Meeting the needs of the whole child

Assist children with developing social and emotional skills

Use a range of instructional methods and learning techniques

Communicate with parents verbally and written (electronic daily reports)

Assess student's skills and performance to ensure they are meeting developmental milestones

Qualifications:

CDA a plus but will pay for teachers to receive a CDA with promissory note

Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines

18 years and older

High school dilpoma or GED a must

Compensation: $12.00 per hour
