Assistant Team Lead Electronics Recycling Production System

Role Overview

This position reports directly to the Shred Plant Team Lead and is instrumental in:

• Maintaining continuous workflow in a fast-paced high-movement environment


• Supporting and directing team members during daily production


• Ensuring safety, sort accuracy, quality, and machine throughput meet or exceed standards


• Operating sit-down forklifts and other industrial machinery


• Communicating critical adjustments to the team and leadership

This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll be expected to both execute and guide others, not from a desk, but shoulder-to-shoulder on the floor.

 Day-to-Day Accountabilities

• Operate sit-down forklift in fast-paced environment


• Load/unload pallets product with accuracy


• Work with Team Lead to adjust production logic in real-time


• Monitor and reinforce team adherence to SOPs and company guidelines


• Support new team members and assist in onboarding


• Help to ensure no time, motion, or material is waste


• Maintain clear, clean, and safe work zones 

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years’ operating sit-down forklifts in fast-paced production settings


• At least 1 year in a leadership role in operations, warehouse, or manufacturing


• High attention to detail


• Comfortable with assisting in real-time decisions when logic shifts under pressure


• Ability to lift 50+ lbs., work on your feet, and stay engaged throughout the shift


• Must pass background check and drug screen

Compensation & Benefits

• $21.00–$24.00/hour, based on experience


• Flexible weekday schedule (no weekends, no mandatory overtime)
