Assistant Tennis Pro

Join us for a fun summer position where you will work with a great team and wonderful club members! Corinthian Yacht Club is a private club located on scenic Marblehead Harbor. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Tennis Pro to be a part of our seasonal team.

Position responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Assisting in the operation and maintenance of the tennis facility -including two courts and tennis hutch.


• Supervising a small staff of tennis Instructors and directing them in daily operations.


• Assisting the Director in developing and managing the educational, recreational, and competitive tennis programs.


• Organize and teach tennis lessons.

Required Skills:

• Ability to coach and direct players with positive, ethical, and approved coaching methods.


• Positive and professional attitude with high degree of integrity.


• Strong work ethic and ability to handle a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED required.


• BS/BA Degree recommended, not required.


• USPTA certified strongly preferred.


• USTA rating of at least 4.5 or college playing experience is preferred.


• Valid First Aid, CPR, and AED certification preferred, but not required.


• Professional and/or competitive tennis background desired.


• Prior experience working as a full-time teaching professional or in a summer club setting.

Schedule:

• Weekend, evening, and holiday shifts are required.

Pay Range: $20 - $23/hr +, depending on experience
