Assistant Tennis Pro - Urgent Role

Bethesda Country Club is hiring an Assistant Tennis Pro/Tennis Concierge. This position will anticipate the member & guest needs and provide a memorable experience. Essential Functions:

• Schedules and confirms reservations for services using the Club's reservation program
• Submits recommendations for improvements for increased member and guest satisfaction
• Completes daily checklist of all opening and closing shift duties
• Assists with timely, accurate resolution of member/guest questions and complaints
• Make themselves available at specific times to give private and group lessons to members and their guests.
• Teach, coach, and play tennis. Teach adult and junior private, semi-private and group tennis lessons. Teach and supervise tennis clinics and team tennis coaching, including round robin play and cardio tennis. Play as a fourth, and/or serve as a hitting partner, and/or substitute as requested/scheduled.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills
• Expertise with all Microsoft Office program
• Experience teaching/coaching tennis to juniors and adults of all ability levels; USTA 4.0 or higher required
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment, where change and improvement is always present
• Availability to work an open schedule to include mornings, nights, weekends and Holidays
