The Assistant Vice President for Institutional Effectiveness and Deputy Chief of Staff reports to the Vice President, General Counsel, Chief of Staff and Board Secretary, supervises the Office of Institutional Research, leads institutional effectiveness efforts, oversees institutional data governance, serves as the institutional accreditation officer, and assists the VP/Chief of Staff with implementation of the President's agenda and priorities.
This role is responsible for leading institutional effectiveness efforts with the goal of continuous improvement; developing and maintaining institutional key performance indicators; assuring effective and appropriate assessment of student learning outcomes, student experience and satisfaction; and overseeing the establishment and maintenance of consistent data definitions, documentation practices, and governance standards as part of an overall data governance strategy.
The ideal candidate will possess experience in collaborative leadership within higher education, strategic use of data for informed decisionmaking, assessment strategies and practices, accreditation, and strategic planning/project management, or relevant experience that demonstrates possession of the skill sets necessary in these areas.
To be successful in this position, the individual must excel at coordinating and leading complex institutional projects, which requires developing and maintaining strong relationships across the institution and communicating effectively with partners, stakeholders and the campus-at-large about initiatives and priorities. This individual must also be able to develop and monitor metrics of success for initiatives and priorities, translate complex data into meaningful insights, be able to adapt plans and initiatives as warranted by changing circumstances, and partner with campus leaders as part of an ongoing effort to continuously improve institutional performance and student success and to advance institutional priorities.

Eligibility to Work
In order to comply with US Homeland Security Department regulations, all employees must complete an I-9 form in Workday prior to or no later than the first day of work and bring originals (no photocopies) of their supporting documentation to Human Resources no later than the 3rd business day of employment. Failure to have a completed I-9 form on file with the College will result in immediate termination of employment.
