Position Summary
The Assistant Manager of Warehouse Operations plays a key role in assisting with the oversight of daily warehouse activities for Casa de Fruta. This position is responsible for managing and actively performing all aspects of shipping and receiving, packaging operations, and end-to-end fulfillment of online sales orders. This position requires you to be highly organized, hands-on, and comfortable working alongside the team to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and quality in all warehouse functions.
Warehouse Operations
• Assist in managing daily warehouse operations, including packaging, shipping, receiving, and inventory flow.
• Ensure Casa de Fruta branded products are packaged accurately, safely, and to company standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Support scheduling and workflow planning to meet production and shipping deadlines.
• Oversee and perform all inbound and outbound shipping and receiving activities.
• Verify incoming shipments for accuracy and condition.
• Prepare outgoing shipments, including packing, labeling, and documentation.
• Coordinate with carriers and internal departments to ensure timely deliveries.
• Provide day-to-day guidance and support to warehouse staff.
• Train team members on packaging, shipping, and order fulfillment procedures.
• Step in to perform warehouse tasks as needed to meet operational demands.
• Assist with inventory tracking, counts, and reconciliation.
• Identify and report inventory discrepancies or process improvement opportunities.
• Help maintain accurate records within inventory and order management systems.
Qualifications
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
• 3+ years of experience in warehouse operations, shipping/receiving, or fulfillment
• Prior supervisory or lead experience preferred
• Experience with e-commerce or online order fulfillment strongly preferred
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Comfortable with hands-on physical work and fast-paced environments
• Basic computer skills; experience with inventory or order management systems a plus

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday
