Assistant/Senior Assistant Marketing Manager Job Description Reports to:
VP of Marketing
About Ford’s Garage: Ford’s Garage is a 1920s garage-themed burger and craft beer restaurant with 24 locations across six states and an official licensee of Ford Motor Company. Our mission is to drive a unique and nostalgic dining experience for our guests.
Summary of Position: The Assistant/Senior Assistant Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in executing projects and initiatives that support the marketing strategies of the Ford’s Garage brand. This person will collaborate with a cross-functional team to ensure projects are delivered on time and efficiently through a collaborative approach. This person will be managing project timelines and ensuring alignment on key milestones, progress and roadblocks. This person will also be supporting franchisees with local marketing plans and new restaurant opening marketing support plans. This person will be the point person for go-to-market creative planning.
At any given time, this person will be involved with a high volume of marketing projects.
Minimum Qualifications: ·
3+ years of prior marketing experience ·
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or equivalent ·
Ability to travel (approximately 10% of the time) ·
Highly experienced with MS Office including Outlook, Teams, Word, and PowerPoint ·
Working familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) ·
Strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and ability to multitask ·
Excellent written and verbal communication skills ·
Manage project timelines and tasks for various national and local marketing communications and initiatives ·
Maintain consistent communication with cross functional teams, including franchisees, training, and operations, to ensure successful rollout of marketing programs ·
Uphold brand standards and ensure compliance with guidelines ·
Support franchisees with grand openings and local marketing plans ·
Maintain the online portal of communications accessible to the franchisees ·
Manage menu creative process including core menus and limited time offerings ·
Research competition and recommend opportunity areas ·
Track performance of marketing initiatives against KPIs, report on results, and recommend opportunities for improvement ·
Regularly develop presentation materials for key updates and communications
