Assisted Living Medication Aide-Night Shift

 Memorial Community Health, Inc. Assisted Living Facility, East Park Villa is seeking a compassionate and dependable Medication Aide to join our night shift team. This is a part-time position, two 12-hour overnight shifts each week, along with two weekends every 5 weeks. Job Duties:

• Performs responsibilities related to the provision of resident care.
• Participates as an effective member of the care team.
• Prepares and uses necessary equipment.
• Performs emergency treatment as required in accordance within a Certified Medication Aide scope of practice.
• Performs and maintains documentation.
• Follows HIPAA regulations and ensures that the confidentiality of residents’ medical, personal, financial records, employee records, and organizational records is maintained.
• Complies, understands, and enforces state and federal regulatory requirements related to the performance of Memorial Community Health operations and requirements, including but not limited to HIPAA, the Code of Conduct, the Compliance Policy, Safety and Infection Control, all department and organization-wide policies, Critical Access Hospital requirements, and Federal and State of Nebraska regulations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred
• Current Medication Aide certification with the State of Nebraska
• A current State of Nebraska Driver’s License
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers
