Assisted Living Nurse

Job Description

We have an opportunity for a FT nurse at our Lino Lakes campus.  This position is non-exempt (hourly) Monday – Friday 8:30am-5:00pm. We are looking for a collaborative nurse with a passion for caring.   Lyngblomsten at Lino Lakes Assisted Living and Memory Care is a private-pay facility.  We offer excellent work-life balance with minimal on-call requirements.  The primary responsibility of this position will be the overall clinical assistance in our Assisted Living and Memory Care. 

The posted pay range of this hourly position is $28.05 to $44.30. The actual rate of pay offered within this range may depend on several factors, such as FTE, skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions. Additionally, our organization values pay equity and considers the internal equity of our team when making any offer. Hiring at the maximum of the range is not typical.

Duties

• Work collaboratively with AL Clinical Director and Clinical Manager to provide person-centered nursing care to residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care
• Management of medications, physician orders, and documentation in medical record
• Serve as primary nursing contact for Physicians, Family members, and Vendors
• Provide initial follow-up on incidents and falls
• Conduct nursing assessments to ensure residents are receiving optimal level of care
• Provide day-to-day supervision of unlicensed resident care assistants
• Collaborate with staffing coordinator to ensure appropriate staffing levels

Qualifications

·        The successful candidate must possess a current, unencumbered MN RN license. Willing to consider an exceptionally well qualified LPN with current, unencumbered MN LPN license.

·      Preferred candidate will have two years of direct nursing experience in a long-term care, Home Health, or Assisted Living setting.

·         Excellent communication and time management skills.

·         Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook.

·         Eldermark experience a plus.
