Associate Attorney

Position: Associate Attorney - Insurance Defense

We are seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join our insurance defense team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal injury and property damage cases, with knowledge of product liability and professional liability being a plus.

Responsibilities: 

- Conduct legal research and analysis on insurance defense cases 

- Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents 

- Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations 

- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance adjusters 

- Participate in case strategy meetings and provide recommendations 

- Assist with trial preparation and support lead attorneys during trial

- Keep up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations related to insurance defense

Qualifications:

- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school 

- Admitted to practice law in the state where the position is located 

- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in insurance defense, specifically in personal injury and property damage cases 

- Experience with product liability and professional liability cases is a plus 

- Strong research and analytical skills 

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team 

- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple cases simultaneously 

- Willingness to travel for court appearances and client meetings as needed
