Qualifications
· Candidates should have a general criminal defense background in both state & federal courts, including trial & appellate practice with at least three-year’s experience.
· Candidates must possess excellent communication skills, verbal & writing, and organizational skills, the ability to manage essential deadlines, as well as a strong work ethic and comfort working collaboratively in a team environment.
· Responsibilities may include attendance at hearings, depositions, trial and appeal, jail or prison visitations in addition to preparing client reports and motions to the courts. The candidate may be required to outline transcripts of testimony.
· License: GA Bar is not a requirement; however, the successful candidate is expected to take and pass the Georgia Bar within the first year of employment.
· Excellent research and writing abilities; with experience with Westlaw and Microsoft Office products;
