Associate Attorney - Insurance Defense

Pay: $90,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year

Note: This position requires employees to be on-site five days a week at our clients offices in Fort Lauderdale, Jacksonville, or Tampa, Florida.

Note: The qualified person will have their Florida bar license and 2+ years of experience in insurance defense litigation. Experience with construction defect cases is a huge plus.

Job Description

• Seeking full-time Associate Attorneys for insurance defense litigation.
• Positions available in Fort Lauderdale, Jacksonville, and Tampa offices.
• Manage a diverse caseload including construction defects, general liability, and bodily injury claims.
• Responsibilities include drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, and representing clients in court proceedings.
• Collaborate closely with partners and clients to develop case strategies and achieve favorable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) and active license to practice law in Florida.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in insurance defense litigation.
• Experience with construction-related litigation is highly preferred.
• Strong legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage a full caseload and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
