Job Details:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as a Permanent Copy of Partner in the Legal industry. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with a team of experienced professionals in a fast-paced and challenging environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Corporate Law, open source, trademark, forming consortia, patent knowledge, contracts, licensing, knowledge of antitrust laws, Intellectual Property, and Corporate generalist knowledge.

Responsibilities:
Provide legal advice and guidance on a wide range of corporate matters including corporate governance, compliance, transactional matters, and intellectual property rights.
Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial contracts and agreements.
Work closely with business teams to form consortia and manage open source projects.
Handle trademark, patent, and copyright issues, including filing applications, managing portfolios, and defending against infringement.
Advise on licensing strategies and negotiate licensing agreements.
Provide guidance on antitrust laws and ensure company practices are in compliance.
Work cross-functionally with various teams to identify and mitigate legal risks.
Develop and implement legal policies and procedures to support business operations and growth.
Represent the company in legal proceedings, if necessary.

Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in a law firm or corporate legal department.
Must be a licensed attorney in good standing.
Strong knowledge and understanding of corporate law, intellectual property law, and antitrust laws.
Experience with open source, trademark, forming consortia, and patent knowledge.
Proven experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and licenses.
Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
Ability to provide clear and concise legal advice to non-lawyers.
Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
