Associate Attorney Remote (Northern Virginia / Fairfax County)

We’re hiring an Associate Attorney on behalf of our client for a remote opportunity based in Northern Virginia (Fairfax County area). This role involves managing legal matters from case initiation through post-judgment remedies, offering an excellent opportunity to gain litigation experience in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.

⚖️ Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough legal research and draft well-reasoned written arguments and communications

• Handle a high-volume caseload with precision and efficiency

• Provide legal analysis and counsel regarding risks and outcomes in civil litigation and collections

• Negotiate with opposing counsel to resolve cases effectively

• Travel as needed to courts across Virginia to represent clients in hearings and proceedings

• Report outcomes and activity regularly to the Managing Attorne

• Experience: 0–3 years of experience in bankruptcy, collections, or civil litigation, with exposure to court proceedings and legal regulations
• Education: J.D. from an accredited law school
• License: Active license to practice law in Virginia
• Licensure in any of the following states is a plus: GA, SC, TN, FL, MD, MI, OH, or UBE

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
