Job Description:
A Commission Analyst works closely with Pricing, Client Service Managers, Client Integration Analysts, Relationship Managers, and Correspondents teams to ensure commission schedules are set up accurately.
The Role
Commission plays a very important role in the way many correspondents maintain their businesses, charging commissions is our correspondents’ major revenue generating system. It is the largest revenue producing mechanism for Clearing Correspondents.
To support the function mentioned above we analyze, build, test and implement all commission schedules for Clearing Correspondents.

Skills
You Bring
College degree in Business and the equivalent plus 5 years business experience in the financial services industry.
3 years of Fidelity Investment experience preferred
5 years of brokerage industry experience
You have knowledge of trading
You have strong organization, presentation and problem solving skills
You have the ability to work closely with internal and external customers
You have the ability to work independently and make time sensitive decisions
You have prior experience with computer systems: Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Generic Rules Engine (GRE) and FBSI knowledge
You have strong leadership and communication skills

Providing Commission Schedule Implementation and Support by being responsible for interpreting requests, providing consultation, entering, and testing schedules.
Act as point of contact for Clearing Client Service Managers, Clearing Client Integration Analysts, Clearing Relationship Managers, and Clearing Correspondents regarding commission schedule
implementations.
Educating Clearing Client Services, Clearing Client Integration and Clearing Relationship Management about the Policy and Procedures of commission
implementation.
Discussing audit trail for commission processing and variables that affect the final commission with Correspondents.
Researching commission disputes and questions that may arise after schedules have been implemented.
Collaborating with the System Department, Fidelity Retail Investment Service, Product/Project Managers and Administration and Government Affairs to determine development goals, market trends for commissions, prioritize commission enhancements, and review any legal ramifications of these new developments.
Providing technical support and develop and maintain policies and procedures manuals for internal and external customers.
The Team
Work with the technology group to improve and enhance the system currently used by the Commission Analyst. Support new schedules installations for correspondents and project managers and act as a liaison for the correspondents to present enhancement requests.
