Associate Bioinformatician - Windreich Department of AI & Human Health

The Associate Bioinformatician will assist on research projects focused on data science and genetic epidemiology, including machine learning, polygenic testing, common and rare variant association analysis, and clinical data science, using electronic health record-linked biobanks. The bioinformatician will perform data analysis including genetic association, and statistical analysis. The bioinformatician will assist with writing manuscripts and present research on the project. The bioinformatician will also assist on performing analyses for grants and writing grants. The bioinformatician will meet regularly with the principal investigator

• Assist and/or leading own research projects (including writing and publishing manuscripts);
• Provide statistical analyses for population and medical genetics, and clinical data science projects, mentored by Dr. Do
• Write and publish for research manuscripts
• Present research at seminars and conferences
• Assist with analyses on other projects in the lab.
• Assist with grants

• B.S. in Biological Sciences, Bioinformatics, Computer Sciences, Statistics or related discipline. M.S. in related field preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in research environment, 2-3 years preferred
