Job Description - Associate Brand Manager - Action Brands New Business

We\u2019re looking for a curious, strategic, and consumer-obsessed Associate Brand Manager to help drive product strategy for New Business within the Action Brands portfolio.\n\nThis role is ideal for someone who loves understanding consumers, spotting trends early, and turning insights into products, platforms, and experiences that win at shelf and beyond. You\u2019ll work at the intersection of brand, product, and commercial teams\u2014helping guide ideas from concept to launch. \n\nEffective from the date that Hasbro opens its new Boston location, this position will be onsite Tuesday \u2013 Thursday at Hasbro\u2019s new HQ location in Boston, MA. In the interim, this position will be onsite Tuesday \u2013Thursday at Hasbro\u2019s HQ in Pawtucket, RI.\n\nA Day in the Life of an Associate Brand Manager \u2013 New Business: \nYou\u2019ll help define and deliver global product and brand strategies, partnering closely with product, insights, and commercial teams. Day to day, you\u2019ll:\n\n * Support the development of global product strategies and line plans, from early concept through launch. \n * Use consumer, category, and cultural insights to inform product innovation, platform evolution, and portfolio decisions. \n * Analyze market, category, and competitive trends to identify whitespace opportunities and growth ideas. \n * Partner with cross-functional teams (product development, insights, design, engineering, finance, legal) to move ideas forward efficiently and creatively.\n * Help shape go-to-market direction by aligning product intent, positioning, and storytelling across regions. \n * Support U.S. market execution by contributing to line planning, forecasting, sell-in readiness, and close collaboration with sales teams to ensure product strategies translate to strong in-market performance. \n * Work closely with regional and commercial teams to understand local market needs, retail dynamics, and executional challenges. \n * Support forecasting, development systems, and tracking tools to ensure accurate product, timeline, and financial inputs. \n * Support internal storytelling through clear decks, frameworks, and narratives that bring product strategies to life\n * Keep teams aligned through clear, consistent communication of priorities, progress, and decisions. \n * Work with License Partners. \n\n\n\n\nWhat You\u0027ll Bring:\n\n * 3 years of experience in brand, product, strategy, or consumer goods\n * Licensed brand experience is required\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree in Marketing, Business, Strategy, or a related discipline\n * 3 years experience with product development processes, line planning, forecasting, sales collaboration.\n * Comfort working with data and insights - able to connect quantitative and qualitative inputs into clear recommendations.\n * Strong organizational and project management skills; comfortable juggling multiple workstreams.\n * A strong interest in product development, consumer behavior, and portfolio strategy. \n * Clear, confident communicator who can influence cross-functional partners.\n * A wide range of passion for storytelling across pop culture, entertainment, sports and fandom are a must.\n * Comfort experimenting with and applying AI-powered tools to improve analysis, productivity, and creative problem-solving.\n * Agility and resilience in a fast-paced environment.\n * Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel. \n\n\n\nWe are an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action Employer\n\nHasbro is committed to equality of opportunity in all aspects of employment. The hiring range will vary based on factors such as experience, skills, location and market conditions.
