What You'll Get to Do:

CACI is looking for a full-time Associate Category Manager for the summer and fall semesters of 2024.

The position is located in Reston, VA and will be hybrid with 3-4 days in office per week. Under close supervision, you will assist in the management of CACI's procurement categories, agreements and strategic partnership in accordance with client requirements, government regulations and procurement policies/procedures.

More About the Role:
You will prepare reports, metrics, and presentations.
You will analyze spend to identify opportunities for savings and provide recommendations on category strategies.
You will review client solicitations received by company and provide recommendations regarding outsourcing requirements to business management team.
You will prepare and conduct negotiations on terms and conditions.
You will perform price analysis and conduct negotiations on price and price related terms.
You will be responsible for keeping management informed of the deliverables.
You will learn agreement standards, plans and policies, and supports contract negotiations.
You will maintain contact with staff regarding contract negotiations, preparations and monitoring.
You will disseminate information regarding agreements status, compliance, modification, deviation, negotiation and termination.
You will help to ensure that agreements and category strategies are in accordance with legal requirements, customer specifications and government relations.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business or related field or in progress.
0-1 year of relevant experience
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred, not required.
Previous internship/co-op or other work experience, leadership and teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional/community/extracurricular)
