Plans and implements activities which are designed to develop a range of social, cognitive, and/or motor skills for individuals/groups of children within a specific age range, working within a childcare setting, classroom or field environment. Responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and safety of children in the day treatment program when they are in the playroom. Responsible for ensuring the playroom runs smoothly and efficiently on a daily basis.
Work requires a High School diploma or equivalent and one to two years of previous work-related experience. CPR certification required. Current Infant/Toddler Child Development Associate preferred.
Effective January 2019, St. Joseph’s Health requires all employee certifications for Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) to be granted through the American Heart Association
