Join the Space revolution and make the impossible, possible.\n\nNorthrop Grumman has an opening for a Associate Computer Systems Architect/Computer Systems Architect (Level 1/2) to join the GSDP Special Test Equipment Engineering (STEE) team. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman\u0027s Space programs that provides specialized IT support to Restricted, DOD and Unclassified systems and environments. This position requires knowledge and adherence to Information Assurance processes and procedures per NG InfoSec and program security organizations. The applicant will be expected to support a variety of diverse, and dynamic environments. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.\n\nBasic Qualifications (Level 1):\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s Degree in a STEM field and 0+ years of relevant experience.\n\n * Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance or SCI access in a timely manner\n\n\n\n\nBasic Qualifications (Level 2):\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s Degree in a STEM field and 2+ years of relevant experience, OR a Master\u0027s degree in a STEM field and 0+ years of relevant experience.\n\n * Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance or SCI access in a timely manner\n\n\n\n\nPreferred qualifications:\n\n * Administration of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 8/9 servers and workstations\n\n * Administration of Windows workstations and servers (Windows 11 and Windows 2022)\n\n * Installing, configuring, and maintaining Linux server applications (i.e. Samba, NFS, Chrony, Web servers)\n\n * Installing, configuring, and supporting Windows applications (i.e. Xilinx, Windriver, LabView, Office)\n\n * Basic understanding of computer networking (OS configuration, Network switches, Firewalls, CISCO IOS)\n\n * Familiarity with CMMC/DFARS/RMF/DOD Security Controls\n\n * Highly skilled at using Compliance and Remediation tools (i.e. Nessus, SCC SCAP scanner, STIG Viewer)\n\n * Building, deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting IT systems hardware (i.e. Workstations, Servers, Storage appliances, network switches, rack \u0026 stack)\n\n * Manage and prioritize workflow using department ticketing system\n\n * Ability to learn scripting languages and automation, such as Bash, Ansible, and/or PowerShell\n\n * Candidate must have, and be able to maintain, at least ONE of the following active U.S. Government security clearances:\n\n * Dept of Defense Top Secret level with a background investigation date within 6 years\n\n * OR SCI access with a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) completed within 5 years\n\n * OR Dept of Energy Q clearance with a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) completed within 5 years\n\n * Meets DOD IAT requirements for security certs or be in the process of obtaining one. (i.e. CISSP, Security+ certification)\n\n\n\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $76,200.00 - $114,400.00\n\nSecondary Level Salary Range: $91,800.00 - $137,600.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
