Summary
To provide L3 level support and administration on storage and backup environment with in-depth experience of hardware and software troubleshooting, upgrade, implementation of new projects.
Qualification
Bachelor degree preferred
Excellent and effective communication skills.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Strong knowledge of Data Domin and Rubrik.
Perform daily monitoring and management of the backup environment
Create and provide reports for backup and storage environments, related activities, and tasks
Create and update documentation for backup environments
Support Network Attached Storage (NAS) / Netapp platform
Strong experience in Netapp 7-mode and cluster-mode configuration and support
In-depth knowledge of Netapp Snap suite of products (Snapmirror, Virtual Storage console, Snapmanager etc.), ISCSI, NFS, CIFS.
Strong knowledge in managing NFS and CIFS environment with Netapp filer.
Adequate experience in handling Netapp filer Ontap upgrade and troubleshooting independently.
Configuration and support of NDMP backups between a Netapp and third party backup products.
Storage migration from 7 mode to Cluster mode using 7TT and WFA
Knowledge in Windows clusters, VMware troubleshooting, SQL Clustering and Virtual storage troubleshooting mandatory
Responsible for infrastructure Support and projects including system design, planning, installations, configurations, upgrades and planning. Work with global team to ensure a smooth project deployment
Provide storage infrastructure system management including capacity planning, performance monitoring and tuning, security management etc.
Should Manage Tier-3 support following ITIL practice with incident and change management
Proven experience in complex, enterprise level NAS platform in a mission critical environment
Should Leads technical assessments of hardware, software, tools, applications, firmware, middleware, and operating systems to support business operations. Basic Requirements:
At least 5 years of experience in managing Netapp storage and backup.
Skills on other storage technologies will be a plus.
Certification on Netapp Certified Data Administrator. (1.) To adhere to quality standards, regulatory requirements and company policies (2.) To ensure positive customer experience and CSAT through First Call Resolution and minimum rejected resolutions or Reopen Cases (3.) To participate or contribute on EN business in creation of proposals to drive Service improvement plans. (4.) To independently resolve tickets and esnure that the agreed SLA of ticket volume and time are met for the team. (5.) To provide support for on call escalations orL3 level support and doing incident and problem management (6.) Work on value adding activities such Knowledge base update and management, Training freshers, coaching analysts and conducting interviewsorparticipation in hiring drives.
