Associate Creative Strategist (Hybrid)

The Associate Creative Strategist bridges creative and performance. You’ll help develop concepts and content strategies that support every channel, owned, earned, and paid while keeping a sharp eye on engagement and results. Working closely with creative, brand, social, and growth teams, you’ll turn briefs and data into ideas, and ideas into assets that both express the BELLAMI brand and deliver measurable outcomes. This is a role for someone who is equally energized by a great creative concept and a strong click-through rate. 

Base Salary: $95,000 -100,000

Annual Bonus: 5% annual bonus based on individual and company performance

Hybrid Schedule: This role requires to be onsite at our Culver City office on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays

Key Responsibilities 

Creative Strategy & Concepting 

• Develop creative concepts and content strategies that support all channels, social, paid media, email, web, retail, and professional/field marketing. 
• Translate marketing objectives and briefs into clear creative direction that balances brand expression with performance goals. 
• Partner with creative and design teams to bring concepts to life across formats, from short-form video to static and campaign assets. 
• Help maintain a consistent brand voice and visual point of view while tailoring creative to the needs of each channel and audience. 

Engagement & Content 

• Generate ideas for content that drives engagement, comments, shares, saves, and community growth, across social and owned channels. 
• Stay ahead of platform trends, formats, and cultural moments, and recommend ways for BELLAMI to show up authentically. 
• Collaborate with social and community teams to ensure creative is timely, relevant, and on-brand. 
• Support content planning and the creative calendar across campaigns and always-on programs. 

Performance & Optimization 

• Use performance data, engagement, conversion, CTR, ROAS—to inform creative decisions and iterate toward what works. 
• Partner with growth and media teams to develop performance-oriented creative and testing frameworks (e.g., A/B and variant testing). 
• Analyze creative results and translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations for future work. 
• Help establish creative best practices that improve both engagement and conversion over time. 

Collaboration & Cross-Channel Support 

• Serve as a creative partner to brand, social, growth, e-commerce, and trade/field marketing teams. 
• Help manage creative projects from brief through delivery, keeping timelines and stakeholders aligned. 
• Ensure creative is adapted and optimized for the requirements of each channel and placement. 
• Contribute to a collaborative, idea-rich team culture across the brand. 

• 3+ years of experience in creative strategy, content strategy, social, or a related creative/marketing role. (Beauty, fashion, or consumer brand experience a plus.) 
• A strong creative instinct paired with a performance mindset, you care about both the idea and the result. 
• Experience developing creative or content across multiple channels, especially social and paid media. 
• Comfort working with performance data and using it to guide creative decisions. 
• Strong understanding of social platforms, content formats, and what drives engagement. 
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate creative ideas and rationale clearly. 
• Highly collaborative, organized, and able to manage multiple projects at once. 
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, or related field
