    Job Description

    ENTRY LEVEL

    Renesas Electronics is seeking an early-career Digital Design Engineer to join our team in Chandler, AZ. This role supports the development of Charger and PMIC devices for Tier 1 mobile customers.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Design efficient digital blocks that meet functional, cost, power, and specification requirements.
    • Develop TCL scripts and design constraints for CDC analysis, synthesis, DFT insertion, and static timing analysis.
    • Support DFT strategy, implementation, and test case verification.
    • Contribute to verification planning, feature extraction, and test development.
    • Perform silicon evaluation as required.
    • Document errata and support device modifications.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree with up to two years of experience, or a recent Master’s degree.
    • Experience with SystemVerilog RTL and ASIC design methodologies.
    • Familiarity with SystemVerilog Assertions and UVM is a plus.
    • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
    • Proficient written and verbal English.
    • Willingness to travel domestically or internationally on short notice.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
