Atmosphere makes TV fun to watch in places like restaurants, bars, gyms, airports, medical facilities, and more. In turn we’ve created a new lane for video advertising, reaching 150M monthly consumers wherever they are.

About the role:
Atmosphere is looking for an Associate Brand Director to join our National Ad Sales team in its NYC office. This position will focus on selling video (TV, OTT/CTV, DOOH) advertising opportunities across our network of over 60,000 venues across the US.  

We are adding to our team of National Sales with a new role in the NYC market. You are someone with a proven track record of success in digital and media sales, a self starter who effectively builds relationships through in person meetings, phone calls, and industry events. 

This position will be based in NYC and will report to the Head of Agency, East.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead sales and partnerships across your defined territory with an entrepreneurial mindset, driving every stage of the sales cycle
  • Communicate Atmosphere’s unique offer to client, agency, and programmatic teams. Educate the market on the benefits of investing video, digital, and DOOH budget across our platform
  • Consistently achieve and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets by effectively managing your pipeline to secure both Direct IO and programmatic investments.
  • Prioritize your time spent on qualified meetings and client engagements to focus on the brands and categories with the strongest right to win
  • Consistent, proactive, and creative client outreach to secure a minimum of 8 meetings each week
  • Effectively collaborate with internal sales support teams including Marketing, Account Management, and Revenue Operations.
  • Develop org charts for all key decision makers, prospect new opportunities, secure and lead agency and client sales meetings, negotiate and close business, and ensure successful outcomes and campaign recaps for renewals.
  • Use data analytics to shape the most effective partnership to each client
  • Convey client feedback with recommendations and marketplace insights to Atmosphere Sales Leadership
  • Stay on top of industry trends, events, client specific headlines and leadership, new technologies, and unique opportunities
  • Push the envelope with innovation, bring your new ideas to the forefront
  • Own CRM responsibilities associated with your client list

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years experience successfully selling digital and video media to National brands and Agencies
  • Professional network of relationships with Agency and Brand decision makers which you can use to immediately bring value to Atmosphere
  • Organization and communication skills necessary to handle large volume of opportunities
  • Strong background in Digital, Video, and/or DOOT at a challenger media brand
  • Passionate about building relationships both internally and externally
  • Exceptional presenter with excellent negotiation skills
  • Coachable, resilient, and determined. Looks for the learning in a failure as much as success
  • Relentlessly curious, always seeking for the WHY
  • Knows how to identify a need and close business based on delivering outcomes
  • Seek opportunity in challenges, rejection, and failure - its not a “No”, its a “Not Now”
  • Fun personality, someone your team wants to have a meal with at the end of a long day

The base salary range for this position is $90,000 - $120,000. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skills, experience, and qualification for the role.
