Associate DVM

Our beautiful hospital in Whatcom County, Washington, is looking to add a full-time Associate Veterinarian. Were located in the growing town of Ferndale, about 15 minutes north of Bellingham. Whatcom County offers four distinct seasons with endless recreational opportunities from beaches to snowy mountains, and adventure is right in your backyard.

Our hospital is modern and well-equipped, offering preventative wellness care, in-house labs, radiology (including dental), ultrasound, therapeutic laser, and electronic medical records. Our surgery suite accommodates a range of procedures for small animals, supported by a complete team of experienced staff. We maintain regular scheduled hours with no on-call shifts. Currently, we are seeking someone proficient in surgery who can hit the ground running.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)

• Compassionate, team-oriented approach

• Ability to lift 40+ lbs

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the veterinary team while upholding medical standards

• Develop and implement medical protocols

• Perform routine and advanced surgeries

• Interpret lab results for accurate diagnoses

• Educate and build strong client relationships
