AMFM Healthcare is seeking a dynamic and experienced Associate Executive Director to join our leadership team and oversee our adolescent mental healthcare program, Mission Prep Healthcare. The Associate Executive Director will play a key role in supporting the Executive Director in the strategic direction, management, and growth of the program. The ideal candidate will have a passion for adolescent mental health, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving positive outcomes for young individuals.

Qualifications Required:

  1. Preferred Qualifications: Licensed clinician (LMFT, LCSW, Psy. D) with experience in a mental health treatment environment and Master’s Degree from an accredited University.

  2. Prior Managerial/leadership experience.

  3. Two or more years experience working in a relevant field and Clinical Supervision experience.

  4. Current First Aid and CPR certification.

  5. Current T.B. Clearance.

  6. Must be able to complete and pass a state approved criminal background check prior to hire in addition to passing the ADP Selective Screening Services background check.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  1. Experience in, and passion for, clinical supervision.

  2. Excellent conflict resolution, crisis intervention, conflict resolution, de-escalation, and staff training skills.

  3. Clinical knowledge of managed care and commercial health insurance medical necessity criteria for admission, continued stay, and discharge.

  4. Ability to work in a faced-paced environment; make independent decisions, communicate effectively when dealing with clients, families, staff, and other stakeholders of AMFM Healthcare.

  5. Refined and well-organized multi-tasking skills and in-depth problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities and Primary Job Duties:

  1. Assist and support the ED to uphold and enforce the agency’s standards, policies and procedures, client rights, and professional code of ethics and conduct, and complete additional duties as required if deemed necessary by administration.

  2. Collaborate with the ED to develop and oversee treatment experiences that meet the needs of clients struggling with mental health disorders. Assist the ED with continuous quality management and performance improvement.

  3. Support the Program Managers who hold responsibility for training and supervising direct care staff members.

  4. Assist the ED to develop and cultivate an environment based on person-centered philosophy and culturally sensitive to client needs and develop rapport with clients and their families to further treatment goals as needed.

  5. Manage and supervise administrative and clinical personnel. Lead, direct, and motivate staff and clients to successful completion of goals.

  6. Report weekly, to the ED, on the status and progress of the program's activities, staff, and individual clients.

  7. Work collaboratively with admissions, company leadership, and other stakeholders on ensuring an effective and timely process for evaluating clinical eligibility is established.

  8. Assist in the recruitment, hiring, training, and supervision of administrative, clinical, clerical, operations, residential and other staff.

  9. Assist Human Resources with staff conflicts, disciplinary action, and termination, if necessary. Perform performance evaluations of assigned supervisees.

  10. Assist the ED to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with subordinate staff, supervisors, utilization review, managed health care clinicians, medical and mental health professionals.
