Job Details: Job Purpose/Summary: The Global Trade Access Compliance (GTAC) is a critical pillar of our Export Trade COE within the International Business Unit. The primary responsibility for this position is to be a subject matter expert within the global access and compliance platform comprising of documentation, import/export requirements, and regulatory compliance that proactively defines risk and competitive advantage for all products and proteins for assigned global region. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for understanding and communicating import/export regulatory compliance requirements and documentation expectations for assigned global region for all products and proteins Establishes and maintains relationships with Tyson team members domestically and internationally, regulatory personnel, industry influencers and key strategic partners as needed for the assigned global region Ensure export documents (health certificates, slaughter letters, ocean bills of lading, supplemental export documents, shipping manifests, shipping labels, etc.) are completed accurately and in a timely manner to facilitate exports to various foreign countries. Must have working knowledge of the Export module in the USDA Public Health Information System (PHIS) Develop training tools and responsible for onboarding of team members involved with export documentation Communication with various internal and external stakeholders (e.g., plants, OCS locations, ocean carriers, scheduling, export coordinators, CFS stations, sales, R&D, global sourcing, trade lane managers, I.T., customer service, claims, etc.) regarding troubleshooting instructions and corrections Work on continuous or process improvement activities for export documentation Create and update various tracking reports in Excel, power BI, and the mainframe system Assist in meeting the IBU metrics and KPI’s to ensure consistency in Tyson import/ export experience and ROI Requirements: Education/Certifications
: Bachelor’s degree preferred Experience
: 3 years’ experience in export requirements and/or regulatory compliance with working knowledge of global supply chain Computer Skills
: Standard Microsoft Office Suite experience; knowledge and expertise utilizing product and trade lane management systems Communication Skills
