Associate, Fashion Print Designer & CAD Artist Missy & Juniors Sleepwear

The Associate, Fashion Print Designer will focus on the juniors and missy apparel markets, creating versatile, on-trend looks for multiple clients each season. Key responsibilities include developing original artwork, managing print repeats, and maintaining a feminine aesthetic, particularly with statement florals. A strong ability to match colors precisely and follow managerial direction is essential, along with proactive engagement in seeking new projects.

Responsibilities

• Understand the commercial print market for juniors and/or missy apparel
• Create original art and putting prints into repeat, and cleaning prints
• Create on-trend looks for juniors and/or missy apparel across several accounts, in same season
• Versatile design hand with range of style
• Feminine hand – with ability to create statement florals
• Ability to match color precisely
• Proactively seek out opportunities and projects

• Bachelor’s degree in Apparel Design
• 3+ years of practical CAD or Graphic Design experience in the apparel industry
• Proficient in Adobe Suite; especially Photoshop and Illustrator
• In-depth knowledge of print repeats, print cleaning and creating prints
• Excellent sense of style and color and overall attention to detail
• Capable of taking and following direction from manager; can multi-task and prioritize
• Working independently, to complete tasks in quick turnaround time
• Strong organizational, time management, communication and presentation skills
• Positive attitude, with the ability to collaborate team player
• Ned Graphics a plus

New York Pay Rate $40,000.00 - $75,000.00
