Associate Financial Planner

The firm works with clients both at the Corning Office and Virtually across the USA.

Summary:

The Associate Financial Planner is responsible for assisting the Senior Financial Planners with daily tasks and projects related to client relationships.

The ideal candidate is someone who can take charge of their responsibilities, is organized, takes ownership of their role, is proficient with technology, is client service minded, passionate about delivering great service, and asks questions when needed.

Essential Functions:

• Attend client meetings
• Create financial plans
• Prepare for client meetings
• Handle client follow up items
• Answer client questions via email and phone
• Participate as a member of the team
• Assist with tax return preparation
• Demonstrate professional, ethical and courteous conduct in responsibilities and dealings with clients, prospects, COIs, colleagues and other businesses with which we interact.
• Miscellaneous tasks as needed (this may include help with marketing, HR, compliance, etc). We are a small firm so everyone wears lots of hats.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Attention to detail, time management and exceptional organizational skills are essential.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Flexible in the day-to-day workflow.
• Experience with eMoney, Salesforce, Advyzon, Google workspace, Zoom and Charles Schwab are all a plus.

Education:

• Bachelor’s (Required)
• CFP® eligible candidate

Experience:

• 5 years (preferred)

Compensation & Perks:

• Salary range $58,000-$80,000 based on experience
