Job Description - Associate, FP&A, P&T Central Team

Come be a part of what\u2019s next.\n\nNetflix is looking for experienced finance professionals to join the Consolidations FP\u0026A team for our Product, Technology, Ads, and Games organizations. As Netflix pushes into new frontiers - from a fast-growing ads-supported tier and Games business to live events for millions of members worldwide - our Product, Technology, Ads, and Games organization is responsible for enabling and delivering on these ambitions. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop financial expertise across a complex and dynamic expense portfolio, partner with the broader FP\u0026A organization, and deliver insightful management reporting to help Product and Technology leaders invest wisely and move fast. The Consolidations FP\u0026A team serves as the connective tissue for the broader Product, Technology, Ads, and Games FP\u0026A team, owning the deliverables calendar, driving long-range planning, and continuously improving the forecasting systems and tools that keep the team running at its best.\n\nThis role reports to the Manager of Consolidations FP\u0026A and is based in Los Gatos, California, with a hybrid schedule.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\n * Support roll-up of long and short-term financial forecasts, budgeting, and headcount planning, monthly and quarterly corporate deliverables, and long-range planning\n\n * Manage workflow to consolidate variance analysis from FP\u0026A team members\n\n * Create insightful presentations to summarize analyses and facilitate decision-making \n\n * Perform ad hoc financial analyses to deliver insights, and facilitate trade-off discussions, scenario plans, opportunity size, etc. \n\n * Support creation, standardization, and automation of management reporting in dashboards, reports, \u0026 templates. \n\n * Consolidation of our financial projections and assumptions in planning systems, including Anaplan, Workday, TM1, etc.\n\n * Drive systemization and automation across financial workflows to scale with the business\n\n * Netflix is fast-growing with a flat organizational structure, which means that employees are often asked to perform tasks with a range of difficulties. Candidates must be motivated, disciplined, and able to work effectively autonomously.\n\n\n\n\nRequirements:\n\n * 5+ years of direct FP\u0026A experience with a proven track record in financial and strategic analysis, including developing and delivering actionable recommendations. Prior experience in consolidations, technology FP\u0026A, strategic finance in tech preferred but not required.\n\n * Strong analytical instincts with ability to identify right questions, synthesize complex data, and communicate findings clearly and concisely to senior stakeholders\n\n * Excellent verbal and written communication skills and proven ability to build relationships and partner effectively with cross-functional teams.\n\n * High-agency professional with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment and maintain logical rigor and a growth mindset when models and assumptions are subjected to stress-testing\n\n * Very strong project management, planning, and organizational skills, including ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and deliver work under tight timelines\n\n * Superior proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets, with expertise in building and managing complex financial models\n\n * Proven ability to integrate GenAI and automation into your daily workflow to accelerate data analysis, surface insights with higher velocity, and transform manual tasks into scalable solutions\n\n * Proficiency in designing, developing, and maintaining interactive Tableau dashboards and/or BI tools (e.g., Looker), and ensuring data accuracy and consistency through strong quality controls\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field, with strong knowledge of accounting and the highest standards of integrity and ethics; familiarity with financial systems such as Anaplan and TM1 is a plus\n\n\n\n\nDue to the nature and scope of this role, we will need to run a background check prior to starting with us.\n\nGenerally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $155,000.00 - $225,000.00.\n\nNetflix provides comprehensive benefits including Health Plans, Mental Health support, a 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer match, Stock Option Program, Disability Programs, Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts, Family-forming benefits, and Life and Serious Injury Benefits. We also offer paid leave of absence programs. Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off to be used for vacation, holidays, and sick paid time off.
