Associate Health Information Management Representative - Obstetrics 1.0 Day

Associate Health Information Management Representative - Obstetrics- Full Time - Day shift. 

Under general supervision and following prescribed procedures, the birth registrar maintains a continuous operation of birth data collection activities through interviews with patients/significant others. As necessary, reviews patient records and interviews physicians. Complete certificates, secure necessary signatures, and submit data to the Orange County Department of Birth and Death Registration within 10 days of birth. Maintains birth register, perinatal database and compiles statistical reports. Is proficient in required competencies.

• Medical record experience or birth registration experience.
