Associate Industrial Security Specialist

to join the Government Security Team in

Position Responsibilities:

Files program paperwork and performs other administrative and data management tasks as neededAssists with Internal Security Controls through performance of compliance assessment reviews and self-inspections to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirements.Identifies deficiencies and recommends corrective action.Assists with Administrative Inquiries (e.g., collects and analyzes data, writes reports and interviews) on personnel, processes and situations to determine level and scope of non-compliance with government and company regulations/requirements.Assists in the protection of government, intellectual, third party and company information from unauthorized disclosures.Develops, implements and administers an Operational Security program, security education, procedures and physical controls to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirements on less complex programs.Performs Personnel Security processes to assist in obtaining individual security clearances/accesses.Assists in developing and conducting security awareness training and education program to educate, refresh, and motivate personnel to protect people, property and information.Assists in Physical Security duties and responsibilities within Boeing facilities (e.g., complete fixed/closed facility checklists/survey areas, review and approve facility drawings for new or remodeled classified areas) to ensure compliance with company and government regulations/requirements.Assists in sub-contractor management to ensure compliance with government regulations/requirements.This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

This position requires a current Tier 5 (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) (U.S. Citizenship required) or requires candidate agreed to enter a Continuous Evaluation program.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

1+ years of experience in industrial security.High school diploma or GEDMS Excel experiencePreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Experience with NISP, SAP, and/or SCIWorking knowledge of DoD NISPOM ManualTypical Education / Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 year's related work experience, 7 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Travel:

This position may require travel up to 10% of the time.

Summary Pay Range: $65,450 - $88,550
