Job Summary:

This role is responsible for providing legal advices, drafting legal documents, resolving legal disputes, managing compliance system. Associate General Counsel will work closely with the business teams to ensure that all legal matters are handled in a timely, efficient and appropriate manner. This individual will report to Admin Team Leader.

Report To: Admin Team Leader

Responsibilities:

• Advise and counsel in a variety of legal and compliance topics.


• Provide legal and compliance training to everyone in the organization.


• Review company policies and practices on a regular basis to ensure that all are in compliance.


• Provide oversight, direction and maintenance of compliance program.


• Conduct risk assessments and general reports for compliance meetings


• Prepare for the possibility of audits and investigations by developing strategies, maintaining records and designing procedures.


• Preparing, reviewing and negotiating company contracts and other legal documents


• Generate accurate work product quickly as requested.


• Manage outside counsel relationships, as needed


• Perform other duties as assigned


• Regular and reliable on-site attendance is required.

Qualifications:

• At least 1+ years of relevant work experience


• Law firm or global in-house counsel legal department work experience preferred


• Law degree from an accredited law school or equivalent, relevant experience


• Licensed to practice law in the state of Arizona preferred but not required


• Experience with and exposure to corporate compliance, labor & employment issues and safety & environmental issues


• Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of corporate law and procedures

• Excellent analytical, communication, research and writing skills


• High degree of professional ethics and integrity


• Excellent business and legal judgment, as well as a superior ability to assess risk and determine priorities based on that risk assessment and the needs of the business


• Effectively organize and manage independent caseloads presenting multiple simultaneous priorities


• Strong negotiation and communication skills (both oral and written). Ability to communicate legal issues in a clear and understandable manner. Inspires trust and confidence through effective communication and interpersonal skills


• English/Korean Bilingual skills
