Associate Manager - Madewell

Overview:

We are seeking an Associate Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in sales management, retail math, and store operations. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our store.

Duties:

- Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Manage inventory, stock levels, and merchandising
- Train and supervise staff on sales techniques and customer service
- Utilize cash registers and Point of Sale (POS) systems effectively
- Communicate with vendors to place orders and manage deliveries
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Assist in creating promotional displays and marketing strategies

Skills:

- Sales management experience
- Strong time management skills
- Proficiency in using cash registers and POS systems
- Knowledge of retail math principles
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers
- Experience in buying products for retail stores
- Familiarity with grocery store operations
- Previous experience in store management is a plus
