Associate Manager of Case Management

The Associate Manager of Case Management plays a dual role in delivering high-quality, person-centered case management services while supporting the overall performance and development of the case management team. This position maintains an active caseload and collaborates closely with the Director of Case Management to ensure service excellence, contract compliance, and client satisfaction. The Associate Manager also contributes to staff coaching, audit readiness, and continuous improvement efforts within the department. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Maintain assigned caseload to meet contract and funding requirements, including plan development and monitoring of services, including meeting with parents/clients to discuss planning, progress, issues, and concerns both virtually and in person


• Provides general team support


• Sets a good example of best practice when approaching case management and staff management.


• Assist with training staff; not limited to:
  
  
  
  • Reviewing and trains on tracking sheets and billing accuracy,
  
  
  • Assists with training new hires
  
  
  • Co-Supervises case managers
  
  
  • Assists with feedback for trainee evaluations
  
  
  • Assist with feedback of case managers
  
  
  • Assist with leading department meetings
  
  
  • Provides feedback and coaching on Mileage and timesheet tracking
  
  
  
  


• Assists and participates with auditing throughout the year. to ensure all contract requirements are met.


• Participates in 24hr-crisis intervention service (on-call cell duties) as scheduled and as assigned.


• Provides coverage for unplanned and planned absences for the case management team to instill consistency and ensure clients’ needs are being met at all times.


• Responsible for coverage of vacancies in collaboration with the Program.


• Assists with program enrollment for the agency and ensuring all clients get the tools required for success


• Actively pursues professional development for themselves in management and case management role and well as for their team members


• Assist in community training and outreach efforts agency wide


• Researches, explores, and evaluates community-based resources and distributes resource information to agency staff.


• Is it available to staff for questions and concerns during core business hours


• Any other duties as assigned for the betterment of the business


• Collaborate with team members and leadership to ensure cross departmental success and growth.
