About the Role

We are seeking an Associate Marketing Director to lead brand strategy, demand generation, and go-to-market execution across our full product ecosystem, as well as our education, training, and community programs. This leader will oversee our four marketing teams (Digital, Creative, Video, and Content) and help guide the marketing function worldwide, ensuring a consistent brand voice and identity across every region and touchpoint.

What you'll do

Strategy & Leadership

• Lead the development and execution of a global marketing strategy spanning product launches, brand campaigns, digital marketing, and education programs
• Lead, mentor, and develop the marketing team across four disciplines (Digital, Creative, Video, and Content); assess strengths and gaps, set priorities, and build the structure and talent needed to scale
• Partner with the Marketing Director on the annual marketing plan, budget, and department goals
• Manage agency and external partner relationships to ensure effective spend that drives growth

Brand & Creative

• Protect and evolve the brand’s visual identity, tone of voice, and messaging so they remain consistent across all markets, channels, and partner touchpoints
• Oversee creative, video, and content production for campaigns, product launches, catalogs, e-commerce, and social, ensuring work is on-brand, on time, and on budget

Demand Generation & Digital

• Oversee demand generation across paid media, email, SEO, social, and e-commerce to grow leads, conversions, and revenue for both equipment and education programs
• Build community-driven marketing programs that engage instructors, studio owners, and Pilates enthusiasts worldwide

Cross-Functional & Global

• Partner with Sales, Education, Product, and Customer Service to align marketing with company initiatives and support new product go-to-market
• Develop international field marketing strategy and manage execution, supporting market expansion, adapting campaigns for regional distributors and partners, and equipping them with marketing tools and resources
• Represent the brand at key industry events and partner activations

Budget & Performance

• Own the marketing budget, allocating spend across channels and regions to maximize return
• Use customer research, market data, and sales performance to make fact-based decisions; set KPIs and report on ROI to executive leadership
• Stay current on emerging marketing trends and technologies

What you'll bring

Required

• 15+ years of marketing experience, including 10+ years in marketing leadership roles
• Proven success building, scaling, and leading marketing teams across multiple countries or regions
• Experience directly managing at least two of the following marketing disciplines: Digital, Creative, Video, and Content
• Demonstrated success leading brand management, demand generation, and community-driven marketing programs
• Proven track record launching products and leading go-to-market campaigns
• Experience leading digital and e-commerce marketing, including paid media, email, SEO, and social
• Experience owning a marketing budget and using customer research, market, and sales data to make decisions and measure performance against KPIs and ROI
• Experience managing agency and external partner relationships
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills, with experience reporting to senior leadership
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 15% of the time; a valid passport is required, or the ability to obtain one before start date
• This is a 100% onsite role at our Sacramento, CA headquarters

Preferred

• Experience in a consumer/B2B hybrid business
• MBA with a Marketing focus or equivalent experience in global marketing leadership.
• Experience marketing physical products alongside education or certification programs
• Experience marketing through international distributors or channel partners
• Background in Pilates, fitness, or wellness
• Familiarity with Wrike, Adobe Creative Cloud, Algolia, and Gorgias
