Associate Medical Director Trustbridge - Full-Time

Trustbridge Hospice, a part of Empath Health is seeking an Associate Medical Director that has overall responsibility for medical direction of the care and treatment of patients and their families rendered by the hospice care team. Oversees the palliation and management of terminal illness in accordance with the accepted standards of practice and which support the philosophy, mission and purpose of Hospice.

Formed from the legacy of Hospice by the Sea and Hospice of Palm Beach County, we continue to provide comfort, dignity, and peace to those facing advanced illness.

What you'll Do:

Oversees the palliation and management of terminal illness in accordance with the accepted standards of practice and which support the philosophy, mission and purpose of Hospice.

Promotes and practices the Empath and Hospice Program mission, vision and values and follows all policies and procedures.

Participates in a clinical on-call rotation during evenings/weekends/holidays

What You'll Need:

MD or DO degree form an accredited medical school board certified in a related specialty

Current Florida license to practice medicine pursuant to Florida Statue 458 or 459

Minimum 2 years recent active practice and direct medical care experience

Certification in hospice and palliative medicine strongly preferred

Hospital staff privileges at one or more hospitals

Current federal DEA registration

Valid CPR Certification required if patient facing
