Reporting to the Chief Physicist, this position provides physics support for Radiation Oncology department. Under the direction of the senior medical physicists, key responsibilities include weekly chart checking, acceptance testing and commissioning of therapy hardware; and calibration and QA of therapy equipment.

Associate Medical Physicist

Required Qualifications: 

• Master's Degree in Medical physics or related major or


• Ph.D. in Medical physics or related major.    


• Coursework/Training: Specialized training in dosimetric techniques and physics of treatment planning and calibration of Linacs.  


• National Medical Physics - Therapeutic Certification - American Board of Radiology within 5 years of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

• IMRT QA and HDR.

Associate Medical Physicist, Salary Range: SoCal (Santa Rosa, CA) Min: $83.21, Max: $131.38

Medical Physicist

Required Qualifications: 

• Master's Degree in Medical Physics or related major., Or


• Ph.D. in Medical Physics or related major.    


• Upon hire: National Medical Physics - Therapeutic Certification - American Board of Radiology 


• 2 years Post-degree clinical experience or completion of a post-degree clinical medical physics residency.

Medical Physicist, Salary Range: SoCal (Santa Rosa, CA) Min: $112.48, Max: $179.83
