About the Role
LHC Group is hiring an Insurance Verification Specialist for our Frederick, MD office. This is an in-office position supporting patient referrals through insurance verification, authorization follow-up, and timely scheduling coordination.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM EST
• No on-call or weekend requirements

Top Responsibilities

• Verify and obtain insurance verification and authorization for incoming and current referrals
• Follow up on authorizations that have already been requested
• Respond to incoming emails from care centers regarding patients needing immediate scheduling

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• No certification required
