Associate Patient Care Technician - Full Time

Associate Patient Care Technician in our Emergency Department at Providence St. Joseph Hospital Orange in Orange, CA. Positions available are Full - Time and may include Evening and Night shifts. You will work 12-hour shifts in this role. Schedule options can be discussed during interview.

Under the direction of the Registered Nurse, Clinical Coordinator, and Department Manager, provides care to the Emergency Department or Critical Care patient.

• Coursework/Training: Completion of 1 clinical semester of nursing school, or equivalent educ/experience
  
  
  
  • 1 year as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Corpsman in the Armed Services, PCT, or 
  
  
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in an acute hospital setting, sub-acute long term care setting or outpatient/home health setting. 
  
  


• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association


• Within 90 days of hire Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB) - provided by St. Joseph Hospital 

• 2 years of experience working in an emergency department as an EMT or CNA.
