Job Description - Associate Producer, Editorial Content

First We Feast—the studio behind Hot Ones, Versus, Heat Eaters, and more—is seeking an Associate Producer to work across our two always-on programs, Hot Ones and Hot Ones Versus. The Associate Producer will support our Executive and Supervising Producers. In this role, you will be responsible for both assisting with the overall production of various series, such as managing budgets and helping with branded deals, and providing on-set support during shoots.

Why We’re Hiring This Role

In late 2024, we spun out of a parent company; throughout 2025 we completed our transition to independent, creator-led studio. Now, in 2026, we’re making the biggest investment we’ve ever made in content with new series and the continued growth of our existing programming slate, including our most-viewed shows, Hot Ones and Versus.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you'll work on various aspects of our productions, including:

Production Management

    • Assist with tracking overall production budgets and managing spending programs;

    • Maintaining the show calendar and monitoring deadlines/key dates;

    • Ensuring smooth workflows at all stages of production from booking to shoot to post-prod and launch and ensuring the quality of final deliverables;

    • Assist the EP/Director by taking notes in key meetings and advising on potential roadblocks or concerns.

Show Days & Physical Production

    • Help greet talent on show days and serve as a point of contact for talent and their teams while on set;

    • On-set production support: ensuring that any custom props/gear arrive to set; assisingt with set changes; helping manage PAs and other production staff;

    • Prop management: understanding what we have on-hand and manage rentals/returns when required.

Cross-functional Work

    • Working with our in-house Legal team on production agreements, clearances, and other items;

    • Work together with our Branded content team to meet the needs of our clients while maintaining smooth production workflows and on-time delivery

    • Keep the company updated with launch emails, internal communications, sharing franchise milestones, etc.

What You’ll Bring

  • At least two years of professional experience in the production world;

  • Ability to work independently while supporting multiple shows/shoots;

  • A high level of discretion, especially when dealing with talent and guests;

  • The ability to work a schedule based on production needs, which sometimes involves weekend or evening work.

  • Sharp awareness of internet culture, trending formats, and food/pop culture moments;

  • Physical requirements: the ability to stand for long periods of time and occasionally lift props/gear as heavy as 50 pounds.

To apply, please complete the online application and provide all required information. Incomplete applications or applications received outside of our careers page will not be considered.

This is an on-site position based in our Midtown NYC office/studio. Our team works together in person Tuesday through Thursday, with the flexibility to work from anywhere on other days. The nature of this role may require in-person work at other times, depending on team needs or shoot schedules.

This is a full-time, exempt position. In line with similar roles at the company, the employer of record for this position is a third-party payroll firm which pays on a weekly basis. For candidates in the New York City area, the estimated weekly rate for this position is $1,200 - $1,450.  Actual compensation will be determined by the final candidate's experience, skillset, and business needs.
