Job Description - Associate Product Manager, Special Make-up (SMU Footwear)

General Summary
Assist the Product Managers in the management and ownership of the Product Creation Process with a focus on special makeup product assortment for key accounts. Effectively manage the product creation procedure from design concept to initial productions to final production out to the end consumer. Support the Product Managers in providing analysis, data and information to that will inform upcoming trends and business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Assist / execute Special Make-up products based on briefs from conception through sales and distribution. Including briefing, design & development reviews, product sample review / confirmation, and market adoption
Assist / create product data within PLM system including color, price, distribution and volume forecasts
Have cursory knowledge and understanding of category strategy and business objectives
Prepare, update, and maintain design briefs, product updates to development and design, seasonal special make-up add& and drops as well as other types of information
Provide and create final design presentations for approval by key operating partners and US wholesale accounts
Actively participate in cross-functional creation process specific to SMU range (brief handover, Virtual Samples (RVS), sample confirmation, etc.)
Effectively and efficiently navigate and use Reebok software tools and systems.
Communicate updates, status quo of relevant projects, and business results to relevant team /project members, business partners, and others in a timely and appropriate manner
Gather and apply market research and / or consumer feedback to accurately anticipate and fulfill consumer needs, and identify consumers and trends
Interpret and understand consumer dynamics, predict shifts, and react to trends
Benchmark competitor product / strategy, and analyze sales trends to enable fact-based decision-making
Use relevant and appropriate resources to accurately determine, anticipate, and validate current and future trends, competition, retail landscape, and cultural drivers
Make accurate assessments and projections of competitors' strengths and weaknesses in the global market relative to the Reebok brand, products, and product lines including market presence, tactics, merchandising, and trends
Maintain current information of Reebok and industry factors that can affect products, such as material, technology, and consumer feedback and insight
Analyze forecasts and final buying volume to determine success of Special Mark-up projects based on volume/net sales

Articulate points of view clearly and diplomatically
Tackle conflicts proactively and find constructive solutions together with their counterparts
Cooperate well and effectively with people from a wide variety of backgrounds within and outside of the company
College degree, preferably in marketing/business
2+ year’s experience in product management, sales, merchandising, development, or marketing
Computer skills, ability to process and understand data and numbers
Ability to work within a cross functional team environment
Ability to think and work quickly
Strong verbal & Written communication and presentation skills
Comfortable working on multiple projects at one time
Ability to take direction and work independently and in team environment
Data entry experience
Analytical ability
Adaptable and willing to learn
Entry-level Experience in specific software (PLM and Smartsheet)
The salary range for this position is $60,000 – $100,000, depending on the candidate’s experience, skills, and qualifications. Total compensation may also include a discretionary company performance bonus and a comprehensive benefits package featuring medical, dental, retirement, wellness, and voluntary benefit options, as well as employee product discounts.
