This position will be located in Melbourne, FL. This is an individual contributor role and is not a management/leadership opportunity.\n\nJob Description: \n\nThis position is for the role of an Operations Support Project Manager. The selected candidate will be part of a diverse organization of project managers within the Program Integration \u0026 Execution Team and will support the Operations Manager as well as general support to the Program and PI\u0026E/Program Ops team to include responsibility for implementing and maintaining program management processes and tools including such tools action item manager, health and visibility management system, the strategic rhythm, program planning and operations, program reporting and compliance, customer interface/satisfaction, program processes and productivity, program metrics and analysis, program calendars, program reviews and audits. Coordinates closely with program IPTs, functional organizations and shared services. Effectively interact with internal and external personnel of significant matters that affect the program.\n\nThe candidate will be required to improve their knowledge of industry practices and standards and demonstrate the skill and ability to perform professional tasks. This individual should possess leadership and team building capabilities and have strong interpersonal skills. Must possess solid organization abilities and be a motivated, flexible team player. Some travel will be required.\n\nKey roles and responsibilities for this position include (but are not limited to):\n\n * Programmatic operation and integration directly supporting the Program Office in day-to-day execution\n * Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.\n * Assess project issues, and support development of resolutions to meet productivity, quality and customer satisfaction goals and objectives\n * Development, implementation, and maintenance of tools/templates for monitoring project progress\n * Preparation of status reports and presentations for NGC internal and Customer meetings\n * Support the Program Management Office and Executive Leadership to accomplish a variety of precise, time-sensitive monthly deliverables, metrics, and presentations\n\n\n * Collaborate across multiple different Functions to ensure all objectives are met\n * Promote team engagement activities including lunch and learns, team recognition and organizational highlights\n * Establish, maintain, and proactively manage strategic rhythm of the organization to ensure preparedness for program and customer deadlines\n * Drive a sense of urgency and act with speed to meet all needs of the business and stakeholders\n * Coordination across multiple disciplines and product teams\n * Preparing status reports and maintaining detailed project logs\n * Administration of Jira and Confluence sites; adhering to and creating new process documentation and controls to ensure configuration control of data\n * Coordinate and manage a wide variety of program level meetings while tracking actions and simultaneously engaging stakeholders to prepare for follow-on discussions and meetings\n * Coordinates with higher level managers, Directors and Vice Presidents, and external Customers on daily, weekly, monthly and other tasks as assigned\n * Implement and execute Quarterly Program Management reviews which may require travel\n\n\n\nThis requisition may be filled at a higher grade based on qualifications listed below.\n\nBasic Qualifications Associate Project Management:\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree with 0 years\u0027 experience in Project Management, Program Integration/Execution or similar with Bachelors; OR a master\u2019s degree. \n * Must have an active US Government Secret Clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain special program access within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs.\n\n\n\nBasic Qualifications Project Management:\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree with 2 years\u0027 experience in Project Management, Program Integration/Execution or similar with Bachelors; OR a master\u2019s degree.\n * Must have an active US Government Secret Clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain special program access within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs.\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n * Current and Active Secret or Top-Secret Security Clearance\n * Military/DoD Aerospace and/or Defense Industry Experience\n * Ability, once acclimated, to perform and balance competing tasks autonomously with minimal oversight \u0026 supervision.\n * Ability to effectively manage a balance of regularly scheduled work and tasks as well as providing support for urgent short notice tasks and events\n * SharePoint experience\n * Experience with interfacing with all levels of employees\n * Experience creating and delivering presentations\n * Experience with Microsoft Office tool suite; the ability to create, manage, and manipulate the tools, especially PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.\n\n\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $54,400.00 - $81,600.00\n\nSecondary Level Salary Range: $65,500.00 - $98,300.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.\n\nThe application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
