Associate Project Manager, Precision Medicine
Classification: FLSA Exempt (USA Only)
Reports To: VP, Precision Medicine
Summary
The Associate Project Manager supports the planning, execution, and delivery of projects by coordinating tasks, tracking progress, and ensuring effective communication across teams. This role is ideal for someone early in their project management career who is organized, proactive, and eager to learn. The role will support the Precision Medicine Team, including Pharma Services and AiDx projects.
Duties and Responsibilities
Assist in developing project plans, schedules, and timelines
Coordinate project activities and work with project leads to ensure tasks are completed on time
Track project progress, risks, and issues; escalate when needed
Prepare project and regulatory documentation, reports, and meeting notes
Support communication between stakeholders, team members, and leadership
Help manage project resources, budgets, and procurement activities
Participate in project meetings and follow up on action items
Contribute to process improvements and project management best practices
Responsible for the appropriate accessing and handling of electronic Protected Health Information (PHI) as outlined by policy and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)

Minimum Qualifications
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams
Detail oriented with strong problem solving abilities
Authorization to work in the United States, or appropriate authorization to work in the applicant’s current home country (Indica Labs does not sponsor work visas)
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, management, communications, or related field
Basic understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.)
Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Trello, Asana, Jira, MS Project)
Familiarity with project documentation and reporting
Preference given to applicants currently residing in New Mexico
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Able to consistently meet deadlines
Able to keep project tasks on track
Able to communicate clearly and proactively
Skilled in growing independence and confidence in managing small projects
Able to build strong working relationships with team members and stakeholders
Location
This position reports to our headquarters in Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA, and is open to global applicants. Candidates currently residing within 100 miles of Albuquerque are considered for 100% in-office positions. Candidates currently residing outside of this area are considered for fully remote positions in their home state or country.
