Our employees are not only part of history, they\u0027re making history.\n\nNorthrop Grumman\u2019s Space Sector is seeking an Associate Quality Analyst / Quality Analyst \u2013 Level 1 or Level 2 to join our team in Magna, UT. This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work.\n\nThe Quality Analyst will review completed production planning comparing the As Built to As Designed engineering and reconcile discrepancies. Compile As Built Data to generate reports provided to various customers\n\nThis position will work a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off. Will consider a 4x10, with every Friday off.\n\nThis position will be on 1st shift. As work demand fluctuates there may be requirements for shift work, overtime, weekends, and holidays.\n\nIn this job, you will:\n\n * Follow contract requirements, build final hardware packages and assist program in product sell off\n\n * Be a subject matter expert and point of contact for the department\n\n * Work with engineering, operations, configuration, quality, and other organizations as necessary to complete tasks and fulfill program requirements\n\n * Work on various projects as assigned to help improve process and team environment\n\n * Lead and support continuous improvements efforts related to Propulsion Systems Principles and Operating Practices\n\n * Has daily interface with team members, leaders, and customers throughout Propulsion Systems\n\n * Other duties as assigned\n\n\n\n\nThis position can be filled at either a Level 1 or Level 2.\n\nBasic Qualifications for Level 1:\n\n * Bachelor\u0027s degree with 0 years of professional/related experience. Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree.\n\n * No clearance required to start\n\n * Strong computer skills. Microsoft Suite, Outlook, etc. a must\n\n * Strong oral \u0026 written communication skills a must and strong organizational skills to manage multiple programs\n\n * Able to work overtime when required\n\n * Be able to lift more than 40 lbs.\n\n * Be able to stand for extended periods of time throughout the day\n\n\n\n\nBasic Qualifications for Level 2:\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree with 2 years of professional/related experience \u2013 OR \u2013 Master\u2019s degree with 0 years of professional/related experience. Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree.\n\n\n\n * No clearance required to start\n\n\n\n * Strong computer skills. Microsoft Suite, Outlook, etc. a must\n\n * Strong oral \u0026 written communication skills a must and strong organizational skills to manage multiple programs\n\n * Able to work overtime when required\n\n * Be able to lift more than 40 lbs.\n\n * Be able to stand for extended periods of time throughout the day\n\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications: \n\n * Prior experience in Aerospace and government programs\n\n * Prior experience working with government customers, DCMA, DCAA, Military Branches, Etc.\n\n * CMII Certification a plus\n\n * Knowledge of Engineering Specifications, manufacturing processing, blueprints, parts lists, QMS systems\n\n * Prior quality and manufacturing experience\n\n * As Built vs. As Designed comparison experience. For more information on our Total Rewards package, please visit our Total Rewards site.\n\nNorthrop Grumman Total Rewards\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $54,400.00 - $81,600.00\n\nSecondary Level Salary Range: $65,500.00 - $98,300.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
